Piaget

Piaget is a luxury watch and jewellery brand from Switzerland. Piaget was launched in 1874 and today is a member of Richemont (IWC, Panerai, Van Cleef, Montblanc). Piaget’s initial purpose was the production of watch movements but eventually it also started manufacturing watches. Piaget is famous for ultra-thin movements, complicated tourbillon movements, retrograde movemements and also has self-winding movements in its portfolio.

We constantly review Piaget watches such as the Piaget Altiplano, Piaget Polo, Piaget Dancer, Piaget Limelight, Piaget Skeleton, and Piaget Possession.

Green Rambles: Why I Dislike Safe-Queens

Recently a befriended trader showed me a Rolex Submariner 16610LV, also known as the ‘Kermit,’ that was bought by its initial owner and spent until recently every day in the safe. It was never worn, and the bracelet was not even sized. While this may be a dream come true for some collectors, I always...

Piaget Gives Its Polo the Perpetual Treatment

A perpetual calendar remains a captivating complication. The mere fact that so many parts can come together and show the correct day, date, month, and moon phase for almost a century to come is mind blowing. This is why this complication still has firm ground under its feet in the world of haute horlogerie. This...
