An electronic watch in which the oscillations of a quartz crystal are used to regulate the timekeeping. Nearly all modern quartz wristwatches have a frequency of 32,768 oscillations per second. Most are accurate to within 10 seconds per month. They fall into three categories: analog, digital, and ana-digi.
